Enrique and Ellie Goolkasian Lugo
Enrique and Ellie work in the San Quintin Valley of Baja California, Mexico. Their passion is transformational ministry: empowering people to work towards their own spiritual, mental, and physical health through an intimate and powerful relationship with Jesus. They pastor a church of indigenous farmworkers in the town of Colonet and host a mission base in the small village of Jaramillo. Currently, they are working on a construction project in Jaramillo, building a church and youth center, as well as an apartment for the young pastoral couple they’ve chosen to lead the youth outreach.
Ellie works in a shelter for abused women. She teaches them how to spot abuse and empowers them to break free through awareness and a relationship with Jesus. She is a writer whose stories bring alive missionary life and God’s presence in Baja. A nurse for almost fifty years, Ellie also teaches healthy lifestyle as a means of preventing disease and honoring God with our bodies.
Enrique and Ellie met in 2007 at Foundation For His Ministry, a large orphanage in Baja (ffhm.org). Ellie was supervising their medical clinic while Enrique attended their Bible Institute. They married in 2008 and later moved to Jaramillo where Enrique was ordained as a pastor. He is a gifted worship leader and went on to complete his Doctorate in Theology.
They would love to have you stay with them at their mission base and enjoy both ministry and relaxation!
