Antonio and Veronica Alvarez
Jose Antonio and Veronica Alvarez have been happily married since 1992 and are currently based in San Antonio, TX. They have two adult sons: Jose Antonio Jr. and Daniel. As a family, they love the outdoors and exploring new adventures.
Antonio and Veronica are both originally from Mexico. Antonio grew up without family and lived in an orphanage, several houses and on the streets throughout his childhood. Antonio’s socioeconomic reality did not allow him to imagine that one day he would be attending graduate school. However, for the last ten years, he has been able to successfully obtain several postgraduate degrees: M.A. and M.Div. at Regent University (U.S.A.); M.Litt at the University of Saint Andrews (U.K.). He is currently working on completing his PhD. Antonio’s passion is to use his education to teach and consult at universities and seminaries with students, professors, and emerging Christian leaders in the US and Latin America.
Veronica shares Antonio’s passion for seeing growth and transformation in students and individuals new to their faith. She has a passion for counseling and completed a certificate program in counseling at Christ for the Nations in Dallas, TX. Veronica and Antonio also counsel young married couples at their church.
Antonio and Veronica are excited to use their gifts to help educate individuals through theological education. In this sense, they are deeply committed to reach pastors, professors and emerging Christian leaders in Latin America and beyond, one heart and mind at a time.
